User Permissions
With the Pro plan, you can add team members and assign various permissions to them. There are three types of permissions for team members, each granting different operational rights. In this article, we will explain the details and differences between each permission.
Team Member Roles and Permissions
In the Pro plan, users are assigned one of the following roles: Owner, Manager, or Member.
Owner Permissions
The owner is the sole administrator of the team and has the following permissions:
| Permission | Details |
|---|---|
| Access to the team member management screen | Can add, remove, and change permissions of team members |
| Enforce calibration settings | Can force calibration settings for members |
| Access to the customer portal | Can change plans, adjust sheet count, update payment methods and billing information, and download invoices and receipts |
There can only be one owner in a team. The first user who subscribes to the Pro plan becomes the owner.
Manager Permissions
Managers have the following permissions:
| Permission | Details |
|---|---|
| Access to the team member management screen | Can add, remove, and change permissions of team members |
| Enforce calibration settings | Can force calibration settings for members |
Managers can access the team member management screen and make changes to members’ permissions and add or remove members, but they cannot access the customer portal.
Member Permissions
Members do not have access to the team member management screen. Therefore, they cannot manage or change team-wide settings.
Transferring Owner Permissions
The owner of the Pro plan can transfer owner permissions to another team member, but only the owner can perform this action. After transferring ownership, the original owner will automatically become a manager.
Once ownership is transferred, the original owner will lose access to the customer portal. To regain ownership, the new owner must return the permissions to the original owner.
Also, please note that registered billing information, including the billing address and credit card details, will be transferred to the new owner.
